The Doctor
"Doctor?" I questioned uneasily. The figures and faces around me nodded, shifting around unsettlingly as if staying still was too much work for them "I don't need a Doctor, I'm fine." I had no desire to see the Doctor. Even the title sent shivers down my spine. "We know dear, but we were thinking that some people mature faster than others, and that maybe you should see the Doctor earlier," one of the figures said. I couldn't even see them, for I was seated in a hard chair that dug into my back while everyone else was crowed around me. Their like faces and similar statures all began to blur into one solid black surrounding of grey and more g

Shadows
They crawl at the edges, Creeping, slowly moving forward. I cannot escape from them. They want to drag me down, Down into that deep dark abyss, Where you never see the light again. How can I escape? There's no way out. They're going to get me, And swallow me whole. The shadows tear at the edge of my sanity. Mocking me. Laughing at me. I can see demonic smiles in the shadows The demons want me. How can I escape? They're after me. With their mocking laughs, Their taunting smiles, Their claws ripping at my spirit. I can't escape the shadows, They follow me everywhere. Soon they will get me, And I'll be one with the shadows

I have hope.
My life is hell. Well that's the nice way of putting it. Pure and utter hell, Since I was five years old. I'm almost sixteen now And it's still hell Every day my parents would beat me, Over the littlest mistakes. My best friend betrayed me And left me to suffer on my own. When my best friend left me So did everyone else. I was all alone Betrayed by everyone. So I think it's safe to say My childhood sucked. Now I am sixteen. I have a boyfriend; Everyone is against it though And I have no idea why. I love him, he gives me hope. Is that really so bad? He's the only one Who fights for me. Why can't I be happy with him, A

prisoners
They say we're small and immature too young to know what's best if we try to make a point they put our words to rest. Our attitudes are never pleasant; cannot satisfy they don't understand us but to their rules, we comply. They don't know what we go through the stress by which we live they tune us out and stomp us down mercy they will not give. Can't make choices for ourselves instead they run our lives when independence we receive how then will we survive? Relinquishing control is not something they want to do we cannot have freedom, for our souls, they cannot lose. If we succumb to their desires; don't learn to ask why

hero.
They are laughing at him. He feels their piercing stares. He blinks, hard, and stares down at the pages of his book. The words swim before his eyes, useless. He glances up as they dissipate, a chill crawling up his spine when he happens to meet the eyes of one of the boys, the fellow's lips pursed in a short, thin line. But he breaks the contact and walks off as well. He leans back against the brick wall, exhaling slowly. That's it, then. It is time. He snaps the book shut and jams it in with the other loose papers and binders he won't be needing after today. Shouldering the backpack, he trudges away from the school, toward home. *** He d

fairytales and regurgitation
your pacifistic smile makes my outside-me curl into a similar shape, cynically [morning moods] "anything is possible," you whisper, "chickens can fly, trees will outlive you and bananas do not grow towards the light-" you stole the words i used to lisp when you were hopelessly into painting realistic portraits and you [such a tragedy] only spoke to me in dead languages well, my brain refuses to reply, twisting like tentacles of a baby-sized octopus craving for food so we'll fill ourselves with literature, eat and eat the crumbly yellow-ish pages of knowledge, stained with coffee regurgitation and again it is noon a

On self-love

Unaware
When you are two and five and ten you are unaware –– of the cactus in the windowsill, how, fragile, each quill bends and breaks and falls apart.–– Twelve years later, on a Tuesday, you dream about a boy who bumps his head on an iron slate and you wake in a cold sweat. You are twelve when you are always bumping shoulders. Twenty-two years of Thursday. There is nothing at all. And you wonder (and you wonder why) each time you wake. The cactus in the window bleeds with you when you bump it. No one ever mentioned frightened things bite. So you have always been unaware.

Obsession
It takes 14 minutes and twelve seconds to walk to your home from mine every day. Your mother never fails to smile at me when she opens the door. I never fail to notice that it doesn't reach her eyes anymore. You leave your door open an exact two point three centimeters. I don't think you do it on purpose. There is something wrong with the wood that has left it that way. I pause one foot outside the door and listen to you cough, trying to determine how sick you feel today. I hate that every time I think you are particularly ill, I am always right. Six months, seventeen days and fourteen hours. That is how long its been since the d

Your Poetry Sucks
Yes, roses are red And violets are blue But you have to understand Who said they had to, Its about imagination Emotion and orignality Not the reiteration Of dead men's practicality These words, They are your sentence To a world that has to listen As you create the difference Whether it be With angst poem against love Or how you set your heart free To fly like a dove, For these words Whether or not they be true Their beauty and ideals Will be used to define you, So yes, Hope ,in fact, has feathers And like a caged bird it sings But these words will only be tethers That strip you of your wings, Those are their words Meant for their time And me

Bullied On Our Friendly Website DA
There was once two authors on a website that wanted to let their opinion out. But a famous author set to put them out. She took the flame of these little author’s hearts making them burn from blue to red. And here’s what she said, “Your little fire shall be extinguished because I want you to get the Fuck Out!” The tiny authors wept and cried. Wondering was it because they picked a side. Maybe if they had gone with the flow of everyone else they wouldn't have suffered being a different self? The small male author thought it was too much to handle and left. But the dainty female author stayed behind. However, The ligh
